The Basics

First, What Is Landscape Curbing?

It's the concrete border around flower beds, trees and lawns. A machine extrudes it right on the ground in one continuous piece. Then it gets stamped and colored to look like stone, brick or slate.

Homeowners see it on the neighbor's lawn and want it. It keeps mulch in, grass out, and makes a house look finished.

It's also a business you can run with one machine, one trailer and a small crew.

Who This Is For

This Webinar Is for Two Kinds of People

1

You already run a business

You own a landscaping, lawn care, hardscape or concrete company. You've got trucks, a crew and a customer list. You'll see how to add curbing as a high-margin service and sell it to the customers you already have. Same yards. Bigger tickets. Work for your crew in the slow weeks.

2

You want to start one

You're ready to own something. Maybe you're in the trades, maybe you're changing careers, maybe you looked at franchises and didn't like the fine print. You'll see how people with no concrete background start a curbing business from scratch, land their first jobs and build from there.

What You'll Learn

On This Free Webinar, Ryan Will Show You:

How to land your first 5 jobs.

Where they come from, what to say on the driveway, and how to price them so you actually make money.

The exact equipment and products you need.

No guessing, and no buying stuff you'll never use.

The real numbers on a real job.

Footage, price per foot, labor, material and what's left over.

The Winter Head Start.

How to get trained and set up this winter so you start spring with jobs already booked.

Add-on or start-up.

How the plan changes if you already run a company versus starting from zero.

One Real Job

Here's One Job, Start to Finish

One of our owners did this job in Appleton:

Line ItemAmount
Footage200 feet
Price$18 a foot
Invoice$3,600
Labor$500
Material$475
TimeAbout 8 hours
Left after labor & materialAbout $2,625

That's one day. It's before fuel, insurance and your other overhead, and not every job will look like it. Your price, your market and your crew all change the numbers. But it shows why people get into this business. On the webinar, Ryan breaks down how jobs like this get sold and how owners line up the next one.

Why Winter

Spring Gets Booked In Winter

Most people think about curbing when the snow melts. By then, the owners who planned ahead are already booked.

The Winter Head Start is simple. Use the slow months to get your equipment, get trained and get your name out. When the ground thaws, you're not starting. You're working.

Come April, you'll either be answering curbing calls or watching somebody else answer them. This webinar is how you make sure it's the first one.
